The new law defines and conditions for obtaining fellowships for outstanding academic achievements in scientific research and creative activity , as well as in the case of severe social status.

Since 2006 introduced special scholarships for accommodation for students whose permanent residence is not the same city in which learning takes place . This equally applies to both Czech and foreign students . Specific terms of scholarships , their size and terms of payment establishes the university itself . ( The provisions of the Act do not apply to those foreign students who receive education in the framework of international agreements signed by their countries to the Czech Republic - to exchange . )

To receive the scholarship , before the academic year , you need to submit the form to the student office at your university. Scholarship will be credited to your account specified in the form, at the end of the semester.
