Higher education in the Czech Republic has the deepest historical traditions in Europe. Back in 1348 the Czech King and Roman Emperor Charles IV was the first in Central Europe University named after him . Created by analogy with the University of Paris Sorbonne , Charles University in Prague has for centuries been the center of education and culture, not only for the Czechs , but also for other Europeans.
Today, in the Czech Republic with students from 48 states , and among them a lot of Americans , Britons, Germans , Austrians, and representatives of other countries with high levels of socio-economic development . Study in the Czech Republic is popular due to the high international reputation of Czech universities , international recognition of their diplomas and , most importantly, the quality of training , which is extremely high demand worldwide.
